7-Step Reconstitution Protocol

Follow each step to preserve TB-500 integrity

Gather supplies
Assemble your TB-500 10mg vial, bacteriostatic water, two alcohol swabs, a 1 mL insulin syringe, and a larger syringe for transferring BAC water.

Allow vial to warm
Remove the TB-500 vial from refrigeration and allow it to reach room temperature (15–20 minutes). This reduces thermal shock during reconstitution.

Sanitize the stoppers
Wipe the rubber stopper of both the TB-500 vial and BAC water vial with separate alcohol swabs. Allow 30 seconds to air-dry completely.

Draw the calculated BAC water volume
Using the larger syringe, draw the exact volume shown in the calculator above from the bacteriostatic water vial.

Inject slowly down the glass
Insert the needle at an angle so the BAC water runs gently down the inside wall of the peptide vial — NOT directly onto the lyophilized powder cake.

Swirl gently — do not shake
TB-500 dissolves within 60–90 seconds. Gently swirl or roll the vial between your palms. Shaking creates foam and can denature the peptide.

Inspect and store
Solution should be clear and colorless. Discard if cloudy or particulate. Label with reconstitution date and concentration. Refrigerate immediately at 2–8°C.
